BetterDisplay lets you convert your displays to fully scalable screens, manage display configuration overrides, allows brightness and color control, provides XDR/HDR brightness upscaling (extra brightness beyond 100% for compatible XDR or HDR displays on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs - multiple methods available), full dimming to black, helps you create and manage virtual screens for your Mac, create Picture in Picture windows of your displays and gives you a host of other features to manage your display's settings like display and color mode easily from the menu bar. It can even disconnect/reconnect displays on-the-fly! Requires macOS Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia.
I really don't know why this is on Github, there's no source code. If you go to the software's website it redirects you here. You get it from the Apple Appstore. Buying a full license is only $19us.
Xpra is known as "screen for X" : its seamless mode allows you to run X11 programs, usually on a remote host, direct their display to your local machine, and then to disconnect from these programs and reconnect from the same or another machine(s), without losing any state. Effectively giving you remote access to individual graphical applications. It can also be used to access existing desktop sessions and start remote desktop sessions.
Xpra is open-source (GPLv2+) with clients available for many supported platforms and the server includes a built-in HTML5 client. Xpra is usable over a wide variety of network protocols and does its best to adapt to any network conditions.
Xpra forwards and synchronizes many extra desktop features which allows remote applications to integrate transparently into the client's desktop environment: audio input and output, printers, clipboard, system trays, notifications, webcams, etc. It can also open documents and URLs remotely, display high bit depth content, and it will try honour the display's DPI.
A text-mode X display manager for the console. Lightweight, not trying to be pretty. Enter your username and password, get a desktop. Has an extensive list of window managers and desktop environments it's been tested with. Designed to not require systemd (though it can work under it if necessary).

rtl_power_fftw is a program that obtains a power spectrum from RTL devices using the FFTW library to do FFT.
It is inspired by the program rtl_power in librtlsdr. However, the said program has several deficiencies that limit its usage in demanding environments, such as radio astronomy. An inspection of rtl_power in hope of modifying it and obtaining better performance resulted in the conclusion that it would be an infeasible task. Measurements of FFT performance showed that the leading library in the field of FFT - fftw - makes mincemeat of the routine used in rtl_power, even on simple processors such as raspberryPi.
Software that simulates weather crawls and bulletins from the 80's and 90's. Show weather conditions and weather almanac data just like the early days of cable television. Customizable data layouts and crawl messages. Written in C++; nobody's perfect. Still tries to be as lightweight and simple as possible.
